Our Vase project kit is a wonderful project for anyone wanting to learn more about growing mushrooms. You can choose to grow either grey, pink or yellow oyster mushrooms with this project.
Please note: A VASE IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS KIT.
At Caley Brothers HQ, we like to show you how easy it is to get going stunning mushrooms amongst your own plants and ornaments.
As part of your Vase Grow Kit, we send out the freshest grain spawn – this will need to be kept refrigerated until you’re ready to make your kit - to give you the best chances of growing this will need to be kept refrigerated and used within 4 weeks.
We give you guidance and support to get you growing your 1st flush, you can follow the instructions to try for a second or third flush.
Vases on display are by @adamceramic . Any vase up to 1 litre can be used, we advise using a vase with a narrower opening.

Use by date: The spawn within your kit must be used within 4 weeks from receipt.
Storage: Please keep your spawn refrigerated till ready to use.
During the inoculation period of 21 days, store in a dark cupboard at around 18oC. While growing keep in a bright spot but out of direct sunlight and remember to water daily –
PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED. Inside your kit: 250g of fresh spawn on grain, wood pellets, plastic grow bag, full set of growing instruction and growing guidance, sticker, postage box and branded sleeve.

All prices include delivery - excluding Highlands, Islands and Northern Island where a £3 delivery charge applies.
We ship orders using YODEL 48-hour tracked service. On the date of collection, you will receive an email from us confirming dispatch, followed by an email from YODEL with your tracking number.
If you have specific delivery preferences, such as requiring the courier to ring the doorbell or leaving your parcel in a safe place,we strongly advise that you update your delivery preferences directly with YODEL via their tracking portal to ensure they follow your instructions.
Important Notes:
While we can pass delivery preferences to the courier, we cannot guarantee their compliance.
Once an item is marked as delivered, we cannot be held liable for loss or theft if the parcel is left unattended.
Alternative Shipping:
Occasionally, we may use Royal Mail 48-hour tracked service. In these cases, you will receive an email from us with shipping confirmation and tracking details.
Delivery Times:
Please allow 3–5 working days for delivery once you have received your dispatch email.
If your items have not arrived within 7–10 days, please contact us immediately.
Important: We are unable to track or ensure safe delivery of items after 21 days from the dispatch date. If the courier marks an item as delivered, we cannot be held responsible for loss or theft.
Additional information
Recycling your kit: All paper and card can be recycled with your standard card recycling. The plastic bag can be cleaned and recycled with your soft plastic recycling. Your coffee grounds and used substate block can be composted or disposed of along with your normal food waste. Approx. weight: 600g Approx. Dimensions: 24x17x17cm
